​Being the only fresh-made small bakery storefront in Gunni is a fun and delicious role to play in making our community sweeter and better! It is also an important responsibility and a privilege to help make our customers’ special occasions (and everyday ones too ;) extra special and delicious :) This requires some special people behind the scenes to make these creations a reality!
Baking Assistant
Responsibilities:
-
Assisting with mixing, baking and decorating
-
Making frostings and fillings
-
Preparing finishing touches (toppings, slicing fruit, cutting out decorations)

Mixing various doughs
-
Forming and baking tart and pie shells
-
Other misc baking tasks as needed
-
Help customers when needed
Qualifications:
-
Willing to train but baking and/or decorating knowledge is a plus
-
Attention to detail and ability to focus / follow-through
-
Self starter
-
Ability to work well as a team - willingness to pitch-in when needed
-
Must be able to stand for length of shift
-
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
-
Need to be able to work at least one weekend day per week

Must be at least 18 years old

Other Details:

Part-time and full-time positions - $14.42 - $16 / hour depending on experience + tips

Shift times - production shifts are mainly morning to mid-afternoon shifts however this may vary depending on busy seasons
